A spacious, attractively presented, well-resourced learning environment that provides children with rich opportunities to experiment and explore;

A stimulating well planned, learning programme that effectively integrates early literacy and numeracy learning and te ao Māori;

Teachers who work well together as a collaborative team, who know children well and who demonstrate skills in engaging children in learning and extending their thinking and ideas; and

A high level of involvement and support from parents.
