Auckland City Trip 2008

The 2008 Auckland trip took place from Monday October 20^th to Friday October 24^th.  Accommodation was at Willow Park Christian Lodge in Bucklands Beach.  Transport was by bus.  All our Year 5-10 students participated.

 

Activities included:

· The Auckland Museum

· A sleepover at Kelly Tarltons

· Visits to the Auckland Zoo and The Museum of Transport and Technology

· A day spent snorkelling and exploring on a glass bottom at Leigh Beach Marine Reserve

· Swimming at Waiwera Hotpools

· The Maritime Museum

· A tour of the Auckland Skytower

· A tour of and tasting at the Tip Top Icecream factory

· A Stardome Planetarium visit
