All students at Rangitaiki Independent School are members of the Mathletics programme.
Mathletics is a web-based programme that contains the full New Zealand mathematics curriculum. Teachers can set tasks and focus their students’ learning. Students can sit homework tasks, chose activities from their maths course, ask for support, play maths games and compete against hundreds of children around the world with their basic facts.
As students succeed they receive certificates and unlock hidden games and activities. They can choose to compete on line, in real time, with students from around the world.
Mathletics is highly motivational; our students love it!
