Students from Years 2-4 describe what they can do to show Compassion:
I show compassion by helping others and saying nice things. When they get hurt I go and help them. I get the teacher or help them. I say nice things when they come last in a race. Be nice to people. Say nice things to people. Help them with their homework. Ask them to play with you. Arnob
I show compassion by friendship. If someone gets hurt pick them up and take them to the teacher. When they’re better go outside and play with them. If they don’t have a buddy to read with at SSR you sit by them. Taylah
I show compassion by saying nice things and helping other people. If one of my friends gets hurt I will help them and I would say nice things. Gemma
Compassion. When my aunty had a sore back I told her to lie down in bed. She felt better. Waereti |

Our Seniors got together and learnt about the Australian Bushfires. They came up with their ideas of ways to show Compassion to the victims of the fires.
In Victoria, there have recently been countless infernos creating a hell on earth. Because of our term focus compassion the seniors came up with some ideas , such as raising some money, pen pals, providing shelter, sending books, sending letters to people who have lost people, pets and houses. The new School Parliament have decided to raise some money for a school in Victoria that has been affected by the fires.
